SCBWI Bologna is thrilled to be able to offer the expertise of Naomi Kirsten Senior Editor at Chrionicle Books for individual portfolio critiques.
The critques are available to SCBWI members and non-members alike. Each review will be for 15 minutes and only one time slot is available for each registrant. Critques are available between 3.30 – 4.30 pm on Wednesday 28th March.
To book a critque, please select a day and time from the available times remaining and then pay here. You will receive a confirmation email upon payment. Participants are to bring their portfolio, either physical, or on iPad or their own computer AND the work must be loaded onto your computer, and NOT dependent on wifi.

Naomi Kirsten is a Senior Editor at renowned independent publisher Chronicle Books in San Francisco, California. She acquires approximately 20 titles each year, ranging from illustrated picture books to games, stationery, and novelty formats, with a focus on art-driven projects with international appeal. Naomi’s recent and upcoming titles include FIND ME: A HIDE-AND-SEEK BOOK; THE TRUTH ABOUT MY UNBELIEVABLE SUMMER…, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL…; and I DIDN’T DO MY HOMEWORK BECAUSE…, for which there are 21 international editions to date; New York Times Notable Book and Society of Illustrators Gold Medal Winner THE BEAR’S SONG; YOU AND ME, ME AND YOU; and I HATE MY CATS (A LOVE STORY).
